2022 PHILOSOPHEATERS WRAPPED
we’re not gonna lie: 2022 was a challenging one for the philosopheaters.
But even in our worst of times, some comfort was brought to us by talking nonsense & eating good. from pasta to sashimi to corn bread, it seemed all that was needed to cheer us up was yummy food and each others company. you may say it’s vapid of us (and monetarily unwise) and maybe that is true. But there is no time we feel more present & grateful than when we are savoring a bite of something delicious, appreciating a dish made with love and intention, feeling a meaningful & thoughtful exchange between creator and consumer. in a world where sometimes nothing feels pure, the fleeting beauty of a good meal feels like art for arts sake. In 2023, our hope is we all get to have more of these moments in whatever form we desire them. here is to more passion, to creating from the heart, to vulnerability, to connection, to freedom, to hope, to more philosopheating, as much as we can in this whack fucking world.
